Renault Clio: Rear screen: Removal - Refitting
REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
- Remove:
- the tailgate trim (see Tailgate trim: Removal - Refitting)
(73A, Non-side opening elements trim),
- the rear screen wiper arm (see Rear screen wiper
arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Washing - Wiping),
- the rear screen wiper motor (see Rear screen wiper
motor: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Washing -
Wiping).
B85 or C85 or S85
- Remove the high level brake light (see 3rd brake
light: Removal - Refitting) (81A, Rear lighting).
- Disconnect the de-icing connectors.
REAR SPOILER
- Remove the tailgate spoiler (see 56A, Exterior
equipment, Tailgate spoiler: Removal - Refitting, 56A-3).
K85

- Remove the side seals (1).
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
B85 or C85 or S85

K85

- Protect the edges of the rear screen using masking
tape.
- Cut the cement bead (see Technical Note 560A).
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
- parts always to be replaced: Rear screen adjusting
shim (50,04,12,03).
- Refit the rear screen wiper motor (see Rear screen
wiper motor: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing).
- For preparation and bonding (see Technical Note
560A).
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
- Bond the rear screen (this operation requires two
people).
- Equal out the clearances and shut lines.
- Remove the tabs from the stops once the adhesive
has dried.
III - FINAL OPERATION
K85
- Refit the side seals (1).
REAR SPOILER
- Refit the tailgate spoiler (see 56A, Exterior equipment,
Tailgate spoiler: Removal - Refitting, 56A-3).
B85 or C85 or S85
- the high level brake light (see 3rd brake light: Removal
- Refitting) (81A, Rear lighting).
- Connect the de-icing connectors.
- Refit the rear screen wiper arm (see Rear screen
wiper arm: Removal - Refitting) (85A, Wiping -
Washing).
- Carry out a function test.
- Refit the tailgate trim (see Tailgate trim: Removal -
Refitting) (73A, Non-side opening elements trim).
